The role:

We have a vacancy for a part time (20hrs per week) Social Media Coordinator who will be responsible for our social media accounts, press and influencer contacts, compiling marketing stats and supporting the upkeep of our digital platforms.

We are looking for an organised and creative social media-savvy candidate who has a track record of producing and managing content across social channels and digital platforms.

You’ll be working in a relaxed, creative plant-filled studio in London, Deptford. You’ll be given training, support and lots of opportunities for personal development and growth in this position. This role requires someone to work from our studio 2 days per week and the remaining hours working from home.

Responsibilities:

~ Supported by our Marketing Manager you will help create the social media strategy and build the social media calendar, and develop playful, fresh, and creative campaigns in line with our brand guidelines.

~ Implement our social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, reach and conversions.

~ Manage day-to-day proactive and reactive communications on all social channels.

~ Monitor and track analytics to adapt your strategy against data.

~ Write engaging copy for social channels and digital platforms in our brand's tone of voice.

~ Produce creative image and video content in line with our brand's image.

~ Connect and build relationships with both digital and print influencers and press people.

~ Implement, manage and analyse social adverts and promotions.

~ Stay up to date with marketing trends and adapt them to the needs of the brand.

~ Organise image banks.

 

Required skills / knowledge / experience:

  • Excellent English and grammar with a flair for copywriting.
  • Have a creative eye and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of social channels.
  • At least 1-2 year experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in content scheduling.
  • Video and Image editing capabilities.
  • Adobe Creative Suite an advantage.
  • Passionate about brand building.
  • BA or BSc Marketing degree or similar.

Salary & Hours

£23,000 - £26,000 pa pro rata.
Min 20hrs per week. Hours and days can be negotiated. Ideally, we'd like someone working from the studio for two days per week with the remaining time to be working from home.
