As you know, we loooooooove plants, and have amassed a beautiful collection over time in our Deptford studio and homes.

Meaning we've visited plenty of shops over the years, here are some of our favourites! 

Of course you can grab an budget plant at Ikea or Lidl, but these shops all come with personality, they're a magical environment to step into with enthusiastic staff who are full of plant knowledge, you'll find exotic and rare plants, plus, some locations have a store cat, or are dog friendly - score!

Conservatory Archives

We’ve only visited the Hackney location, it was a beautiful shop and made you feel like you were in Kew! Jin, the owner, is extremely helpful and knowledgable with plant care. 
Conservatory Archives has a fantastic range of houseplants including unusual and rare species.

The garden centre is a beautiful, peaceful, magical place. Their team is an eclectic bunch  of florists, plant lovers, and people who love being outside. 

They offer com[ost by the 'scoop' so you only have to buy what you need rather than big bag of compost, plus you can bring your houseplant in, and they'll repot it for you, for a small charge. Lovely.
